Five Minute Friday - When

Joining the Five Minute Friday folks with Kate Motaung for 5 minutes of beautiful, unedited, raw writing. Take some time and come join us. Bless someone with your story.

Friday's word is...

When.

When will I want to write again?
When will the words come?
When will I sit in front of the keyboard and the words flow effortlessly from my fingers?
When will I be able to get all of the jumbled thoughts... the webs of words... organized into clear, comprehensible thoughts?
When will this season pass?
When.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
Psalm 27:14
    You too, Michelle? I got into a slump. I had words to say, but they were offline and trapped in my head. One step at a time, one word at a time. When it's time again, you will know it :)
    Great promise in that verse you've shared. Wait for the Lord.
    1. Thanks for the encouragement Sabrina. I saw everyone posting and said to myself - "tonight, right now, I am going to take a step." I felt God nudging me. I know it wasn't much but it was something.
  3. We all go through these slumps, and it's difficult not to do, but please don't punish yourself for the words not coming out. Sometimes they still do, even if you don't realize it. Your small post here speaks volumes, yet is written so plainly and simply. The words are already coming out. They just have their own agenda in mind :)
    Happy Friday to you!
    1. Thanks Melissa! I think I get frustrated more then anything. I'll be driving in the car and start thinking of things I want to write... of course while I'm driving is not the ideal time to write. But then I get to a point in the day when I can, in fact write, and can't remember what I wanted to say... or the thoughts are incomplete. So frustrating.
    1. Love this note. I think so many of us want to know we aren't alone. I know that's a big reason why I DO write - is so others know they aren't alone. Thanks for visiting and posting this note.
